In vitro study | Pharmacological studies have shown that Alverine citratehas has an effect on intestinal motility and intestinal sensitivity, and two factors have been found to be involved in the initiation of FBD, while no potential defects of systemic drugs have been found. Alverine citrate can affect basal and stimulating motility, this effect is achieved by calcium-dependent or independent inhibition of neuronal excitability and by direct inactivation of L-type calcium ions in smooth muscle cells. The experimental results support that the analgesic effect is exerted by a mechanism mediated by selective receptors. |
